The “Reduce and Recycle Plastic” activity conducted for Class 3 aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of reducing plastic waste and reusing plastic materials in meaningful ways. The activity encouraged creativity, environmental responsibility, and hands-on learning through the reuse of plastic bottles, plastic containers, plastic straws and plastic spoons.
Students enthusiastically participated in the activity and brought various plastic items from home. With guidance, they transformed these waste materials into useful objects such as pen stands, flower pots, piggy banks, decorative holders, and several other creative items. The process allowed them to understand how everyday plastic items can be repurposed instead of being thrown away.
This activity was successful and engaging. The students not only enjoyed creating useful items but also understood the importance of reducing plastic waste and contributing to a cleaner, greener environment. Their final products were displayed proudly, reflecting creativity, effort, and environmental awareness.
