Description:
The Nursery Orientation (2023 – 2024) for parents was conducted on the 12th of April, 2023, in the school hall. As the parents were entering the hall they were handed over the School Diary, their child's Identity Card and Escort Card. Once all were seated, the meeting began with welcoming the parents by our Principal Sister Mercia, lighting the lamp,a parents’ prayer and a hymn. This was followed by an introduction of the Staff (Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Matron, Poonam, Co-ordinator, Class teacher, Music teacher, Dance teacher, Ecare Personnel). The prayers as well as the PowerPoint presentations were screen shared by Mr.M.Manuel. Our Junior school Co-ordinator, Mrs. J.George spoke abou the playway method of learning,uniform,Nursery school timings, the gate to be used for entrance and exit of children, traffic rules, family time and various other important points.The classteacher Mrs. S. J. Gomes spoke about the points in relation to working in groups, toilet training, birthdays, breakfast and tiffin,etc. Parents were given the opportunity to question and clarify their doubts. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the parents followed by a little refreshment for them.
